Glass Buttes, Oregon

Glass Buttes, Oregon is the source of some of the most beautiful and varied forms of obsidian to be found. These include sheens, rainbow, spiderweb, midnight lace and many other types. The most stunning of these is the extremely rare fire obsidian.
