Sawmill Peak and Butte Creek, CA

Butte County, CA boasts a wealth of collectible rocks and minerals. Some favorite locations include Sawmill Peak, a favorite spot for quartz and pyrite crystals. Fine examples of Limonite and Rhodonite can also be found there. Mariposite was collected in the Butte Creek area.
